While Turkey is waiting for the domestic car to be produced by large-scale companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) whose head is drawn by Anatolian capital have already started production of aircraft. SEM Plastik, Angora carpet, Baykar machinery, rocks, Kaleaero, parte, Anel Elektrik, Gate Elektrik, Timsan Engineering and mikes were among the firms that put their hand under the stone of domestic aircraft project. SEM Plastik, which produces food service equipment to 70 airline companies in the world, undertook production of plastic and composite parts in domestic aircraft project. SEM plastic General Yavuz Eroğlu said that they managed to produce 100 percent of the parts that Turkish Technic wanted and said, "the domestic aircraft project is progressing much faster than domestic car works. OBTAINING INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATES
One of the most important issues in domestic aircraft production is certification. At this point, manufacturer companies must obtain European parts Approval (EPA) certificate. Thy teknik also supports companies that are involved in production to obtain this certificate. After obtaining certificates, in addition to domestic aircraft projects, the doors of the aircraft spare parts sector, which is worth billions of dollars, are opened to the companies.
