Yavuz Eroğlu started a new project called “Protect food”, which was first developed to prevent food waste after being brought to Eupc Board of Directors.

The outcome of the project is striking figures in the United Nations food and Agriculture Organization's 2011 report. According to the report, 1 in 3 of the foods produced in the world are wasted before they can reach the table from the field. The main reason for this is inadequate packaging in less developed and developing countries.
