Standing out in the plastics industry with its environmentally friendly production approach, SEM Plastik A.Ş. has taken a new step on its sustainability journey. The company has started meeting a portion of its electricity needs from renewable sources through a Solar Power Plant (SPP) installed on the roof of its Silivri production facility.

Implemented in line with SEM Plastik’s eco-friendly production vision, this project aims to make a tangible contribution to reducing the carbon footprint and combating climate change. With its annual production capacity, the solar power plant will supply a significant portion of the facility’s energy needs and also contribute to national energy supply security.
