The Turkish world's applause!

Yavuz Eroğlu, the youngest boss of SEM Plastik who challenges global companies, won the award at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in which Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum of Dubai and President Barack Obama participated with a live connection. 

The fastest growing companies are Turkish brands. Young Turkish entrepreneurs marked the international summit where entrepreneurs and new ideas were rewarded. The AllWorld Network, founded by Michael Porter, Professor of Business Administration at Harvard University, announced the fastest growing companies in the Middle East, Asia and Turkey at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Dubai. SEM Plastik group managed to put two companies in one of the fastest growing companies in Turkey for two consecutive years. Credoy polymer, the raw material supplier of the group, was ranked 28th and SEM plastik ranked 38th. At the summit, Allworld network also awarded Yavuz Eroğlu, General Manager of SEM Plastik, the summit Special Award for his work on entrepreneurship and his first industrial investment in Palestine.

The opening of the Third Global Entrepreneurship Summit was held this year, while the president of the United States, Barack Obama, attended the summit with a live link. Close to 2,000 companies from around the world met at the summit.

SEM Plastik group, which is one of the fastest growing 100 companies in Turkey with two companies, has achieved a significant success. Credoy polymer grew 93 percent annually between 2009 and 2011, while SEM Plastik, the flagship of the group operating in the plastic packaging sector, recorded an annual growth of 46 percent in the same period.

Yavuz Eroğlu, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Credoy Polimer and SEM Plastik, was given a special award for encouraging successful entrepreneurial samples and Turkish entrepreneurs to participate in the competition, as well as showing their success in the list for two years in a row. This investment of SEM Plastik, which owns a plastic packaging factory in Palestine, was among the most talked about issues at the summit.

SEM plastic General Manager Yavuz Eroğlu attended the panel titled "today and tomorrow of entrepreneurship in developing countries" at the summit and drew attention to the multiplier effect of a new initiative. Eroglu, " our investment in Palestine, the people of the region encouraged new initiatives, similar plastic plants opened, created value and employment increased we saw. Palestine needs to invest instead of help. Increasing employment and prosperity will contribute more to regional peace., "he said.
