CHP’s Silivri Mayor Candidate Bora Balcıoğlu and the Municipal Council Member Candidates joined the workers of Sem Plastik for a lunch gathering at the factory located in Alipaşa Neighborhood.
Held in a warm and sincere atmosphere, the meeting allowed Balcıoğlu to listen to the workers’ concerns and demands, while also sharing his proposed solutions.

“Silivri’s Buds Education Center” – Equal Opportunities in Education

During the meeting, Balcıoğlu introduced the “Silivri’nin Filizleri Dershanesi” (“Silivri’s Buds Education Center”) project, which aims to provide high-quality education and exam preparation support for underprivileged students.
He emphasized that the initiative represents an important step toward ensuring equal opportunities in education across Silivri.

“Barrier-Free Education Center” Supporting Students with Disabilities

Balcıoğlu also spoke about another educational initiative: the “Engelsiz Dershane” (“Barrier-Free Education Center”), designed specifically for students with disabilities.
He explained that the project aims to provide accessible and inclusive learning environments, helping students overcome educational challenges and realize their full potential.

The workers of Sem Plastik expressed their appreciation for Balcıoğlu’s visit and showed particular interest in the education-focused projects, which they found both thoughtful and impactful.
